Early Access Content Unveiled for Assetto Corsa Evo

Exciting news for racing enthusiasts: The early access launch of Assetto Corsa Evo is approaching, kicking off on January 16, 2025. This eagerly anticipated phase offers players the chance to get behind the wheel of 20 different cars and navigate five iconic licensed tracks. Plus, the game includes a single-player mode complete with a Driving Academy, allowing players to master the intricacies of each circuit.

Scheduled to be fully released next fall, Assetto Corsa Evo promises to deliver a rich and immersive experience. As the third installment in the series by Kunos Simulazioni, and published by 505 Games, this title builds on the legacy of its predecessors with even more excitement.

The game is set to feature vehicles from renowned brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Toyota, and Volkswagen, although specific models have yet to be unveiled. Marco Massarutto, co-founder and executive manager of Kunos Simulazioni, hinted at these collaborations in a recent developer diary, stirring up excitement among fans.

So, when can players dive into this racing adventure? Mark your calendars for January 16, 2025, when the early access phase begins. In addition to the impressive lineup of cars, players will have access to five tracks: Laguna Seca Raceway in the US, Brands Hatch in England, Imola Circuit in Italy, Mount Panorama Circuit in Australia, and Japan’s Suzuka Circuit. These tracks set the stage for the initial single-player content and the much-anticipated free-roam mode.

In early access, the single-player experience will include practice sessions, quick races, and the innovative Driving Academy mode, providing racers with the chance to learn and earn licenses for their favorite rides in preparation for the game’s full economy system.

Furthermore, the game introduces a remarkable free-roam mode set in the picturesque Eifel region in Germany, famously known as the home of the Nürburgring racing complex. The open-world area, once complete, is expected to stretch across 1,600 square kilometers—or about the size of Houston, Texas. Kunos Simulazioni plans a phased release for this open-world feature, starting in summer 2025.

Looking ahead, the full version of Assetto Corsa Evo is slated to include a total of 100 cars and 15 officially licensed circuits. Massarutto emphasized that player feedback during the early access phase will be critical for fine-tuning the game, enhancing its performance, and adding final touches to ensure a polished finish.
