Star Overdrive Added to This Week’s eShop Lineup

This week on the Nintendo Switch eShop, there’s a lot to unpack. With the anticipation of the Switch 2 growing as its launch nears in about seven weeks, a slew of exciting games continues to flood the current platform. Among this week’s highlights is the action-packed adventure Star Overdrive.

Star Overdrive invites players to hop on a hoverboard and traverse an alien landscape, unraveling puzzles and engaging in thrilling battles. This intriguing title is the brainchild of Caracal Games, a team of 12 indie developers. Although not their first project on the eShop, it gains special recognition for being featured in a Nintendo Direct, a first for the studio. Published by Plug In Digital, the same team that delivered the fascinating Mindcop last year, Star Overdrive skillfully weaves fast-paced action with elements of platforming and a third-person perspective. It’s definitely a title to keep an eye on.

For music lovers, Nintendo Music is introducing some spooky fun with the addition of the Luigi’s Mansion soundtrack. Plenty of great games are also being discounted, spanning from the colorful chaos of Mario + Rabbids to the cheeky humor of South Park, along with many others.
