Oh man, you ever have one of those giant to-do lists that just laughs at you? Yeah, same. Nintendo’s done something interesting—kind of last minute, classic move, right?
So, they sneak in this update for Virtual Game Cards literally at the end of April. Like, imagine holding your breath for eternity, and the gasp at the end is this new version 20. You dig around in your Switch settings, and boom, there it is. The “Virtual Game Card” thing they babbled about back in March. I almost forgot, but hey, they came through. Mostly lets you toss games or DLC around like, “Hey, borrow this!” between family members. Pretty neat if you’re running a Switch commune or whatever, I guess. No, but really, it means not always needing Wi-Fi clinging like velcro. Handy!
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the Switch 2 business. GameShare is there, plus this whole ‘transfer saves like a boss’ deal. Moving a bunch of saves at once? Yes, please. The nitty-gritty details are somewhere, but let’s be honest, who reads those?
Anyway, so are we all caught up? I think? Maybe.
