Today’s pretty wild for Honkai: Star Rail fans—finally, the game’s first-ever collab event they’ve been buzzing about! Fate/stay night jumps in, and yeah, folks are hyped.
So, patch 3.4 just dropped last week, which did more than just sprinkle some visual novel vibes. Oh, and if you love spoilers, you probably caught that dev livestream back in June. They spilled the beans on those new guest characters everyone’s been itching to see.
This collab? It’s sticking around for a bit. Like, no one’s nailed down an end date, but whispers say it might run till who-knows-when November. Saber shows up as a 5-Star Wind/Destruction big shot. Then there’s Archer, a Quantum/Hunt character—freebie if you log in and quick, you score Archer with level materials! Saber? You gotta try your luck for that one.
Weird part, the banners for Saber and Archer are special but there’s no extra luck for 4-star stuff. Hit 200 warps, and boom, Saber’s light cone is yours.
And, oh, the voice-over thing? Fate characters just skipped English voices. Purposefully. Kinda ironic with MiHoYo’s recent squabbles about their voice actors and that whole SAG-AFTRA game strike deal.
Jumping back, there’s this sweet new mission—Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail—and a combat event for a month till August 11. Miss out now and some goodies disappear, but they’ll eventually blend into the game’s Memoir.
Earlier this month, more faces joined the lineup outside of Fate stuff. Phainon hopped from NPC fame to playable, sporting a Physical/Destruction flair. And those reruns? They popped in with 3.4, kicking off with Tribbie and pals. Next round hits July 23, bringing Firefly in a chic new outfit, Jingliu, and Blade. Upgrades to characters like Kafka just sweeten the deal, too.
Okay, that’s a wrap—wait, did I mention the combat thing runs till August? Whatever—there’s a lot happening, so jump in if you haven’t already!
