Sure! Here you go:
You ever hear about something and think, “Why does this matter?” But hey, maybe it’s just me. So, there’s this thing going on—VR Games Showcase or something—they’re back for their big Summer 2025 gig. Yeah, next month is the time, and they’re all hyped about it. New XR games, lots of them. Somebody must be excited.
Anyway, it kicks off on August 12th, 8:40 AM PT. That’s early, right? If I have my coffee, maybe I’ll tune in. They call this part, “XR Indies & Friends.” Kind of makes it sound like a beach party? But at 9:00 AM PT, the real deal starts.
So, the folks organizing this are saying we’ll see “major reveals.” Big words. Games for Quest, PSVR 2, PC VR headsets, you name it. Apparently, this is the strongest lineup—ever. Stuff like Forefront. Triangle Factory’s behind that one. And Reach from nDreams Elevation. In case you care about names.
Oh, and get this, there’s this studio, Flat2VR. They’re teasing some interesting stuff. Updates, maybe a surprise or two.
And speaking of surprises, Polyarc’s doing a VR Developer Direct video. They’re showing off Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss. I don’t know what that means, but Seattle’s their HQ, so… cool?
There’s also this little show before the show thing, 20 minutes they say. “Best and brightest” indies. I suppose that sounds nice.
Right, here’s the scoop:
- Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss – Polyarc’s giving us a peek inside this Moss-related, action strategy game.
- Forefront – Multiplayer VR shooter from Triangle Factory. Sounds intense.
- Reach – Big one from nDreams Elevation, with a fresh trailer.
- Flat2VR Studios – Yeah, they’re doing more stuff. New development initiative or something.
Oh, and we’ll all totally be following along, just like everyone else. Catch the stream—YouTube, TikTok Live, you know the drill—on August 12th at 8:40 AM PT / 11:40 AM ET.
Catch you later… maybe?
