Survios is taking a swing at PC and PS5 with a new twist on Alien: Rogue Incursion (2024). They’re calling it ‘Evolved Edition’—doesn’t that sound fancy?
Okay, so originally, this game hit PSVR 2 and PC VR late last year, and then it jumped to Quest 3 in 2025. Initial reviews were all over the place—a bit like how I feel on a Monday morning. But then, bam! They patched it up, tweaked those pesky Xenomorphs, and somehow made it a smoother ride. Less deja vu, more action.
Now, here’s the kicker: Survios has given this VR spectacle a facelift for PC and PS5. They say it’s all “re-envisioned.” Whatever that means, right? Anyway, you can grab it on Steam and the PlayStation Store starting September 30th, 2025. Mark your calendars or set a reminder. Or don’t. I’m not your boss.
The plot? It’s a wild ride. You’re following Zula Hendricks—imagine a badass ex-Colonial Marine blowing the whistle on some shady Weyland-Yutani science experiments. I mean, sounds like Tuesday to me. You and your synth buddy ‘Davis 01’ land on planet Purdan. Stealth and firepower are your best friends as you navigate the creepy, Xenomorph-filled Gemini Exoplanet Solutions lab.
Just like in the VR experience, this version is ‘Part One’ of a two-parter. Yeah, they’re keeping us hanging. Word on the street is Part Two will crank things up a notch. More danger, more enemies. Why not, right?
No clue on when Part Two hits the scene, or if they’ll keep us waiting by splitting the VR and non-VR launch dates. Maybe a bundle deal is in the cards? Here’s hoping.
Interestingly, Survios has done this dance before. Back in 2021, they turned Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions into an arcade spin-off of the VR classic Creed: Rise to Glory (2018). So, adapting from VR isn’t exactly new territory for them. Whatever happens, it’s clear they’ve got a knack for keeping us on our toes.
