Survival game Dysmantle, yeah, it’s hit over two million copies sold. Kind of crazy, right? So, 10tons, the folks who made it, mentioned that they crossed this mark over the past 40-ish months since the full version dropped in November 2021. Before that, it hung out in Early Access for about a year. Popped up on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, Android – basically all over the place.
Anyway, they didn’t spill the beans on how many copies sold where, which is odd but, hey, sometimes details get fuzzy. To celebrate the big 2 million, they’re rolling out a new physical edition for PS5 and Switch. Feels a bit nostalgic, holding a game in your hands, right?
So, the co-founder, Sampo Töyssy – yeah, they got a pic of him too – said they’re super grateful to all the fans. He’s like, “Thanks a ton for the 2 million milestone love!” And oh, this new edition is dropping June 27th. But here’s the kicker – they wanted it in the US too, but some random issues popped up, so that plan’s in limbo.
Imagine getting all pumped up and then… nope, it doesn’t happen. Bummer. Anyway, they hope everyone who wants it manages to snag a copy. It’s like a gentle “keep supporting us, please.” So, yeah, fingers crossed for anyone trying to get it!
