Okay, so here’s the thing about Fortnite’s whole Grapple Glove gig, right? It’s kind of wild how they just drop this stuff on us like, “Bam! Here’s 14 Days of Summer, go have fun!” And me being me, I immediately think about swinging around like some chaotic Spider-Man. It’s supposed to be day one of this summer bash, and you’re out there trying to swing with these gloves without even grazing the ground. Super easy, right? Not. Anyways, the catch is the glove disappears by 9 a.m. EDT next Wednesday, June 25. Or was that Thursday? Dates, ugh.
But yeah, before this gloved marvel vanishes – where do you even find these things? I got you. So, they’re hiding in chests or just lying around, not in any specific spot though. Kinda like finding a needle in a haystack, except the hay is also moving. Best bet? Hit places like Flooded Frogs or Canyon Crossing. They’re small places but loaded with chests. More chests, more chances. Makes sense, right? Just don’t grab Robin’s Wingshot Grappler by mistake, ‘cause that won’t help with your quest. Save those bars, man.
Now, about this whole swinging thing. Why did I think about a jungle gym? Anyway, if you wanna go full Tarzan, find tall trees or buildings. Connect the grapple high up and just keep it moving, quick and slick, from tree to tree or building to building. Pro tip: Crime City and Outlaw Oasis have trees taller than my college dreams. Or detour to the Shining Span – swing under the bridge and totally skip the water hassle. Oh, and avoid getting clobbered by other players. Chill swings only, you know?
And there you have it – if you can manage to stay off the ground longer than keeping a cat off your keyboard, then good on ya!
