Hypergrid Business Announces OpenSim Worlds Fair in March

The OpenSim Worlds Fair is gearing up to open its virtual doors on March 1, 2025, and it promises to be a vibrant celebration of all things creative in the OpenSim universe, from art and technology to fashion and education.

This eagerly anticipated event has been in the works for a year and aims to bring the OpenSim community together like never before. It’s a chance to marvel at the talents and successes that define this unique digital world.

With an impressive background of nearly 20 years in virtual world experiences, the organizing team—Cooper Swizzle, Koshari Mahana, Kimm Starr, along with entertainment coordinator Rosa Alekseev—are no strangers to crafting spectacular events across the hypergrid. Their passion for fostering innovation and creativity makes this fair an event not to be missed, truly capturing the best of what the hypergrid offers.

This year’s fair will take place on the Wolf Territories grid, helmed by Lone Wolf. The event is designed to unite people from all corners of the virtual world, regardless of their background or interests.

Attendees can look forward to 17 themed stages, each catering to different musical tastes with genres ranging from rock and roll and Motown to Latin and retro. These stages promise nonstop entertainment, ensuring everyone finds something to enjoy and connect over. A big shout-out to Rosa Alekseev, whose dedication and hard work have been instrumental in putting the entertainment lineup together.

For those looking to exhibit their creativity, the fair is offering 72 parcels, with a few spots still available for participants eager to share their innovations and talents. While the large, region-sized parcels have been snatched up, there are smaller plots available for those wanting to leave their mark.
