Sure thing. So, I came across this new stuff from KLEVV the other day, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a whirlwind. They’ve got these DDR5 memory modules and some super-speedy SSDs — yeah, it’s like a techie candy shop. Bear with me; I’ll try to unpack it all.
First off, at the peak of their lineup, there’s this KLEVV Genuine V RGB. Now, they say it zooms up to 10,600 MT/s. No idea why those numbers sound so satisfying, but anyway, there was this demo with an AMD Ryzen 5 8600G on an ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E APEX motherboard. They kept the timings at this weirdly specific CL62-62-62-126-188. Pretty solid, if you ask me. Or maybe I just like shiny things.
Oh, then there are these Urbane V SOLID DDR5 DIMMs crafted for gaming—very high-brow stuff. Somehow, they squeezed 64 GB per DIMM. Can you even imagine? And with speeds at DDR5-6400 and timings CL32-44-44-102-146 — it sounds like gibberish, but it’s meant to be fast. They even look cool, too, which, let’s face it, sometimes matters more, especially if you’re like me and enjoy tech out of sheer curiosity.
Switching gears, we hit the KLEVV CRAS V RGB. Now, this one’s supposed to be all low-latency with CL26 DIMMs running at 6000 MT/s or something. Timings struck at CL26-36-36-76-112 on 1.4V. I was impressed. Or confused. Or both.
Oh, and for the Intel folks, they have the CRAS V RGB CKD DDR5 thingamabob, which goes at 9600 MT/s. I think they called them CUDIMMs, with strange timings like 48-60-60-80-942. They’re 24 GB, at 1.4V. It’s a lot of numbers buzzing around, but if you love PCs, this probably sings to you.
Speaking of memory (ha, literally), last year, they showed off their LPCAMM2 modules. I think they max out around 8533 MT/s speeds. Fancy, huh? They pop up in shiny black—looks like something Batman might use. They stuck this RAM on a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen7. Man, that name is almost cooler than the module itself.
Oh, and they’re rolling out black-coated DDR5 UDIMMs. Keep an eye out for those in stores. Plus, new Gen5 SSDs in the “G” series of products are coming—faster than a sneeze in a windstorm.
Mostly, they’re aiming at gamers and tech enthusiasts. Prices? Availability? No clue yet, but it sounds like it’s just around the corner. I can’t wait to see more, just gotta hold on to my wallet when the time comes.
