As the countdown on the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater website inches closer to zero, anticipation is building for the much-speculated release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. Adding fuel to the fire, a well-known leaker has dropped some tantalizing details, including the game’s alleged release date and information on various editions that will be available.
This latest scoop comes from Billbil-kun, a leaker with a commendable history for accuracy. It follows last month’s discovery of a rating for THPS 3 + 4 on the Singaporean Infocomm Media Development Authority’s website. According to Billbil-kun, fans can mark their calendars for July 11, when they’ll supposedly be able to dive back into the iconic skate parks—hopefully without too many spills.
The leaker goes on to suggest that players will have a choice of three editions: the standard for $49.99, deluxe for $69.99, and a collector’s edition priced at $129.99. The latter two are rumored to grant early access three days before the official release, offering eager fans a head start.
In addition to earlier access, the deluxe edition is rumored to be packed with goodies, especially appealing to fans of Doom. Imagine skating as Doom slayer and revenant characters, gliding on a hoverboard styled after the Unmaykr, all to a backdrop of extra music. There’s also talk that pre-ordering any edition could earn you a Wireframe Tony shader and early access to a demo of Foundry, the opening level of THPS 3.
As we await confirmation of these juicy tidbits, the countdown ticks to its end today at 6PM GMT, 1PM ET, or 10AM PT. Signs point to this being more than mere speculation.
