Oh man, Nintendo’s back at Gamescom this year! After ditching the 2024 gig, they’re, like, “Surprise! We’re showcasing Switch 2!” Bet Cologne, Germany, is buzzing. I mean, it’s Gamescom, right? The biggest bash for gamers — I can almost smell the excitement there from August 21 to 24.
So, this post pops up from Nintendo’s German social — confirms they’re on the show floor again. Is there gonna be a Nintendo Direct for Switch 2? Who knows? They’re keeping that under wraps for now.
What’s next for Nintendo at Gamescom 2025? The suspense is killer, especially since Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza will have been out a while by then. But hey, maybe Metroid Prime 4: Beyond gets the spotlight. That “vague 2025” release window is stretching, isn’t it? Man, to see a longer demo like the one during the Switch 2 Tour — that’d be neat, right?
