Sonic will be joining the ranks of beloved characters on launch day, as SEGA has announced that “SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS” will hit the shelves on June 5th.
Sonic isn’t the only big name arriving with the Switch 2 launch. Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S are also part of the impressive line-up. You can now secure both physical and digital pre-orders for these enticing games.
“SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS” brings you the chance to dive into a brand-new storyline with Shadow, showcasing fresh abilities that highlight why he’s dubbed the Ultimate Life Form. Plus, you’ll get a fully remastered edition of the fan-favorite Sonic Generations. This time-traveling adventure includes both 3D and 2D stages with enhanced visuals and bonus content sure to delight fans.
Ready to amp up your puzzle gaming? “Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S” throws you into the heart-pounding action and introduces a novel “Puyo Tetris Doubles” mode. Here, players can face off in intense 2v2 battles, utilizing a shared board to execute jaw-dropping combos. The game supports local and online gameplay for up to four players and features a robust roster of 40 characters, including Sonic the Hedgehog, each bringing unique stats and abilities to the fray.
As for Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, this version is the ultimate take on the celebrated origin saga of the Yakuza series, refined for the Nintendo Switch 2. This edition offers new, unreleased story cutscenes and a fresh “Red Light Raid” online multiplayer mode. Team up with friends to tackle waves of adversaries.
