Oh, hey! So, guess who’s back in Destiny 2? Yeah, it’s Xur, that exotic gear peddler everyone loves to chase down every weekend – and he’s brought some wild stuff. Let’s take a look.
First off – why is this guy always hiding in weird places? He’s nestled in the Bazaar at The Tower now. No more playing hide and seek, just pop in and say hi. Pretty sure he just hangs out by the Ramen Shop now. Kinda wish I had some ramen right now, but anyway – getting distracted.
So about his loot. Xur’s got these crazy pieces of armor – the One-Eyed Mask for Titans, Aeon Soul gauntlets for Warlocks, and Knucklehead Radar for Hunters. Imagine having eyes on your helmet. Creepy, right? But everyone says it’s a beast.
Oh, and he’s brought some weapons – Hawkmoon, The Huckleberry, Sunshot, and The Prospector. I’ve got this soft spot for The Huckleberry, don’t ask me why, maybe it’s the name. Like, why call a gun Huckleberry?
Right, about Destiny 2 drama – Bungie seems to have stirred the pot again. They threw in this timegate for the Rites of the Nine, and everyone went bonkers. I kinda get it, nobody wants to wait for weeks just to jump into a dungeon. Bungie backpedaled fast though, made the schedule easier. Props to them for that, I guess.
Oh, and Trials of Osiris is back too, and they’re dishing out double rep. Except, next week Iron Banner pops in, so get those matches done now. Or procrastinate, like I usually do.
Xur’s also got this exotic cipher quest going on. Yeah, his inventory’s beefed up big time – with stuff like the Deathbringer Catalyst and even a freakin’ Skimmer Board vehicle called The Xurfboard. Can’t make this stuff up.
