WWE 2K25 just dropped its first DLC, the New Wave Pack. It’s got four new superstars and some Island vibes. People are buzzing about Stephanie Vaquer. Yeah, she’s that NXT powerhouse from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and had a quick AEW gig.
She’s got this whole devilish theme with horns and everything. It’s wild. Since jumping on board with WWE in 2024, she’s been tearing up NXT, snagging the Women’s and North American titles in no time. Makes sense she’s in this DLC, right? And oh man, her signature move, The Devil’s Kiss, it’s legendary.
Now, here’s where it gets kinda weird. You expect her move to be a big feature in 2K25, right? But, nope, it’s not even listed in her Signature Moves or Finishers. Like, what? Fans are scratching their heads. Apparently, you can still pull it off if you’ve got the know-how—put the opponent in a sitting position and hit Grapple, and boom, you get that head slam action.
But, back to Vaquer—a little side note—she spilled the beans on a podcast about how The Devil’s Kiss came to be. Her coach, Matt Bloom, named it right when it started blowing up on social media. I mean, it fits her devil-like persona with those crazy horns.
And get this, it’s not hers alone. Charlotte Flair’s got it in her repertoire too. She even used it at WrestleMania 41. But somehow, Vaquer’s turned it into her signature. And now with WWE 2K25, it’s like this move’s immortalized, you know?
Seriously hoping future games actually list it as a Signature Move. Until then, players who know the trick can still enjoy slamming their virtual opponents. Wild ride, isn’t it?
