Maximum Entertainment spilled the beans on when "40 Sports Games In 1" hits the Nintendo Switch. And trust me, it’s sooner than you’d think.
Alright, Breakfirst Games is the brain behind this beast. They’re claiming it’s the "biggest sports game collection" out there. That’s a bold claim, right? But hey, who doesn’t love a little exaggeration now and then?
So, this collection? It builds on something called "34 Sports Games In 1." Not creative with names, are they? Anyway, the deal here is supposedly non-stop fun. Like, for everyone. Really, everyone? I guess if Granny can play, we’re good.
And yeah, there’s like 40 sports. They threw in six newbies: Tug of War, Rowing Tow (whatever that is), High Jump, Taekwondo, Snowball Fight (my childhood self cheers), and Triple Jump. I’m already exhausted typing that out.
Whether you’re a lone wolf or a social butterfly, you earn rewards. Unlocking costumes? Sounds like a weird sports fashion show. But, uh, go for it if that’s your thing.
The folks behind it are promising big stuff:
-
Hold My Drink, I’m Competing – 40 sports, people! From football to horse racing. Random, but I’m curious.
-
Weird But Fun – You get to try crazy games. Paddling and Tug-of-War? Why not?
-
Look At Me, I’m Unique – As you play, you snag costumes. Want to stand out? This is your chance. Or something.
- Hey, Remember Last Time? – They kept what worked in "34 Sports Games in 1" and slid in six new spectacles.
Mark your calendars: Digital drop is 28 August 2025 on the eShop worldwide, and if you’re in North America waiting for a physical copy, 25 September 2025 is your day.
And there’s an announcement trailer or something. But like, let’s be real, who reads trailers? I’d rather watch. Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah, sports. Lots of them. Go check it out, if that’s your thing.
