So, you know that Super Mario Party Jamboree thing? Yeah, they updated it. Version 2.1.0, if numbers get you excited. Not me, but anyway. Nintendo’s trying to make it all shiny for the Nintendo Switch 2. And, surprise, surprise, they fixed bugs. Classic, right?
The Juicy Patch Notes
Okay, so for those playing on the shiny new Nintendo Switch 2, here’s the scoop:
What They Changed:
-
Bugs That Went Bye-Bye:
Ever get stuck staring at the rules for Broozer Bash like eternity? Fixed. Probably. At least, that’s what they claim.
Remember when you’d try to skip parts of studio videos and the game was like, "Nah, I’m just gonna freeze here"? Yeah, that’s supposedly sorted out. But who knows.
Connecting and disconnecting cameras at odd times? It used to make things go bonkers. Now, maybe it doesn’t. Or so they hope.
Also, your in-game camera didn’t know where your face was? Apparently, it was as confused as I am in the morning before coffee. Fixed now. Or maybe just less confused.
They made CPU characters act less like they’re plotting world domination in those mouse minigames. Small victories.
-
Online Mayhem:
Some bugs with online play are history. Whether that’s good history or not-so-good, we’ll find out.
-
Random Fixery:
Other stuff got fixed, but who really remembers those minor glitches until they’re gone?
For the Non-Switch 2 Folks:
-
Oopsie-Daisies:
Ever hit “Play Again” after Rhythm Kitchen and the game just shrugged at you? They fixed that shrug, so they say.
If Mario’s Rainbow Castle made your head spin because a CPU just stopped, don’t worry. They oiled the gears or whatever.
Those stamps? Yeah, things went wonky sometimes. Not anymore. Allegedly.
Online hiccups? Several of them got some love or at least a band-aid.
And, honestly, a bunch of unsung bug fixes. They’re there like, uh, hidden coins. Or at least that’s the hope.
So, update your game or don’t. Maybe you like bugs? No judgment here, just a chaotic pile of thoughts.
