Oh man, so Ubisoft is back at it again, and they’ve thrown out a date for the latest Just Dance shindig! Yeah, October 14th, 2025, mark it down or don’t—I mean, who remembers dates anyway? It’s coming to the Nintendo Switch, so if you’re one of those folks who loves shimmying around the living room, here’s your chance again.
This new round is packed with 40 tracks—honestly, some you might love, some you’ll pretend not to love but secretly do. Stuff like “APT.” by ROSÉ, who I actually thought was a type of wine at first, and Bruno Mars jamming along. And, oh! They’ve got “Houdini” by Dua Lipa. I can’t help but think about magic tricks now… Or was that intentional? Gosh, my brain goes on tangents sometimes. But anyway, Madonna’s “Hung Up” is there too, and yeah, the ultimate classic “All Star” by Smash Mouth. I swear, whenever I hear that last one, I time travel back to the early 2000s. Nostalgia or what?
If you’re into group shenanigans, the Party mode’s got your back. It’s this wild unpredictable dance-off thing. Or, if interaction freaks you out like it sometimes does for me, just grab your phone. There’s this Camera Controller mode—turns your phone into something super high-tech to track your moves. Sounds fun, until you realize you need the space to actually dance without breaking stuff. But hey, maybe that’s just my apartment.
And there’s this local multiplayer jazz for up to six people. So gather your friends if you’ve got that many who want to dance. Plus, the Challenge Mode is where, let’s face it, things get real. Prove you’re not just all talk; show your moves! Unless you’re like me and have two left feet sometimes. Who invents these modes anyway?
Got Just Dance from 2023 onward? Cool—your stuff shows up all together now. It’s like a dance library explosion. Just Dance+ even tosses in a month free, cuz… why not? Sounds enticing, right? Or maybe that’s just me getting overly excited over free stuff.
