Whoa, okay, so here we go. Theia Games is shouting pretty loud about STARVAULT, this wild dive into VR MOBA madness. Open beta on Quest now, and apparently, it’s all about them classic vibes with a VR twist. Phew… what’s that even mean, right?
Alright, so picture this: 5v5 throwdowns but like, up close and personal. Nine heroes you can mess around with, each doing their own thing. You know, weapons, skills, all that jazz. It’s the same old MOBA story, pushing lanes, crashing towers, grabbing enemy bases like it’s nobody’s business.
But wait, there’s more! Farming creeps — those pesky little things — clearing out camps, pushing hard to smash the enemy’s Energy Core. XP, credits, you know the drill. It’s all there, and maybe, just maybe, you find yourself caught up in the frenzy of unlocking moves and snagging those fancy artifacts for round two.
Now, here’s where it gets wacky. Strap on your VR gear ’cause it’s serving this HALO-inspired action, complete with portals and jump pads. Zoom across the map like a ninja—if ninjas had jump pads. So yeah, it’s early development days according to Theia Games. Free for now. No microtransactions, which my wallet heavily appreciates.
Summer 2025, they’re talking Early Access, promising more heroes, ironing out the creases, getting things just right—or so they say. Ethical monetization, whatever that means, is on the menu. Skins, passes, extra goodies, but no pay-to-win shenanigans. Thank goodness for small mercies.
Full launch planned for early 2026, and they’re dreaming big—more heroes, game modes, the works. Regular updates post-launch. New maps, new stuff to keep us hooked. Their vibe? Turning Starvault into a VR esport sensation. Totally ambitious. Maybe a bit too much coffee in their system, but hey, dream big or go home, right?
So if you’ve got a Quest 2 gathering dust, maybe give this a shot. It’s free in beta. Could be a wild ride—or, you know, just another project to follow until the next big thing comes along. 🤷♂️
