I can’t help but wonder why I care, but hey, drama’s drama. So, there’s an article from Wall Street Journal saying Epic’s getting peeved at Disney’s snail pace. Tim jumps in, saying that they’re actually working faster than most media biz stuff. Like, ten times quicker or something. Just picture Darth Vader marching in with turbo speed. Okay, maybe not the best visual, but you get it.
Tim even mentioned they sent their own statement to the article’s writer saying how speedy things were. And guess what? They left it out. Why? Who knows. Maybe it got lost in translation. Or someone just wanted a spicy headline. It happens, right?
Then there’s this investment thing — $1.5 billion into Epic from Disney early 2024-ish. I mean, kinda hard to be mad at a company when they’re tossing you billions, right? They’re supposed to be cooking up something big. Real big. Not exactly sure what, but hopefully not just Mickey Mouse with a lightsaber.
