Sure thing. Here’s my take:

So, Sony finally gave us the date for when we’re gonna see more of Ghost of Yotei. Honestly, it’s been a minute since they last dropped any details—like, early summer? Can’t keep track of time. They teased us back then with a tiny trailer, said more was coming in July. Well, here we are. It’s way past July’s first week, and surprise surprise, more sneak peeks are on the way soon.
Anyway… wait—did I mention there’s a big livestream happening? Thursday, July 10 (ugh, I hope I marked my calendar), there’s this State of Play thing. Full-on Ghost of Yotei focus. They’re diving into the gameplay—20 minutes worth, if not more. Expect some deep discussions on game stuff, systems… mechanics? Yeah, lots of mechanics.
And get this—Jason Connell and Nate Fox, the creative brains at Sucker Punch, are hosting. Never met them, but I bet they’re cool. They’ll unpack the juicy bits of the sequel’s story. Atsu’s on some epic quest, plus she’s got shiny new weapons to show off. Oh, and they’re hinting at ways to, uh, “personalize your journey.” Whatever that means.
They’re teasing new modes too. Maybe they’re tweaking that Legends co-op thing from Ghost of Tsushima? Or reinventing Kurosawa mode, which was kind of this artsy, black-and-white homage to old Samurai films. Might be another novelty. Guess we’ll see.
The whole shebang is going live at 2 PM PT, 5 PM ET, 10 PM BST—gotta set a dozen reminders not to miss it. Streaming on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube. Handy links below, maybe?
Oh! Almost forgot the big one: Ghost of Yotei drops October 2. Only on PS5. Mark it or don’t—I’m not your calendar manager. Anyway, where was I?

Hope that keeps things human enough!
